recruitment in hopes of breaking UCI down into a smaller, more manageable community. At Delta Gamma, everyone I met was so welcoming, which made it so much easier to connect with and share my authentic self. On Bid Day, I was ecstatic to run home to DG, feeling like a weight lifted off my shoulders. Since that day, Delta Gamma has provided me with another home, anchoring my experience here at UCI. DG has given me my best friends, along with a friendly face anywhere on campus. In the few short years, I have created a lifetime of memories alongside some of the best people I have ever met. I am eternally grateful for the opportunities DG has given me, encouraging me to become a leader and follow every career avenue. This chapter has helped me come out of my shell and develop me into the best person I can be.

As you step into this process, you might be a little overwhelmed, as most of us were a couple years ago. Remember, regardless of the chapter you end up in, we are all women in SFL, here to support and uplift each other as a community at UCI. Recruitment will likely be exhausting, so do not forget to get some rest and prioritize yourself. Lean on your recruitment counselors and meet the people in your group. Most importantly, have fun and be yourself!
